Together We Thrive - Public Records Spotlight 

Starting in early Spring 2024, UW and Office of Public Record (OPR) initiated a transformation of OPR.  The goal was to reduce the backlog of Public Records requests (PRR), create greater transparency in responding to PRRs, and position OPR as a more proactive driver behind UW’s PRR responses. 

FPB Working to Centralize Receiving

To improve efficiency and reduce the administrative burden caused by the current decentralized receiving model, Finance Planning and Budgeting proposes shifting to a centralized receiving system that leverages Creative Communications' (C2) expertise and infrastructure. Monthly IBB update 

In January 2025, the IBB Executive Committee (EC) and Modeling Working Group, both charged by Provost Tricia Serio, had their first meetings to continue the work of implementing an incentive-based budgeting (IBB) model at the UW.
